The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs. 59.3505 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs.78.5930 on June 21, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (June 20, 2013) were Rs.59.7000 and Rs.79.1871 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference exchange rate publication: RBI updates US dollar and euro reference rates affecting linked cross currency rupee quotations. The Reserve Bank of India released official reference exchange rates for the US dollar and the euro for a specified date, compared them with the previous day's reference rates, and published derived rupee quotations for sterling and the yen using cross currency middle rates; the Special Drawing Rights rupee rate is to be based on the reference rate.
