In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 223 of the Constitution of India, the President has appointed Shri Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed, senior-most Judge of the High Court of Delhi, to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of that High Court with effect from today, the 10^th of June, 2013, consequent upon the retirement of Shri Justice Darmar Murugesan, Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi.
