Tariff value of edible oils, brass scrap and Poppy seeds notified
Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), Department of Revenue has issued Notification No.20/2010-Customs (N.T.) dated March 15, 2010 notifying tariff values of edible oils, brass scrap (all grades) and Poppy seeds as shown in the table below.

Tariff values for specified edible oils, brass scrap and poppy seeds notified, impacting import valuation and customs clearance. Notification No.20/2010-Customs (N.T.) dated March 15, 2010 publishes US dollar per metric tonne tariff values for listed commodities: crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, other palm oils, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, other palmoleins, crude soybean oil, brass scrap (all grades) and poppy seeds; several edible oil entries are recorded as unchanged, and these published figures serve as valuation benchmarks for customs import clearance.
