THE DELHI VALUE ADDED TAX (AMENDMENT) ACT,2009 (DELHI ACT 01 OF 2010) - Notified 6-1-2010 and Effective from 13-1-2010
(As passed by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the 16th December,2009)
The Proposed Changed in the Delhi Value Added Tax, 2004 got the assent of the Lt. Governor of Delhi as on 1st January, 2010 and published in the notification as on Dated 6-1-2010 [F.14(16)/LA-2009/LJ/10/LC LAW/1]
The provisions of the amendment act came into effect from 13-1-2010 vide Notification No.F.3(23)/Fin.(T&E)/2009-10/ Dated: 13.01.2010
Value Added Tax amendment updates Delhi VAT law, notified and brought into effect by official commencement notification. The Delhi Value Added Tax (Amendment) Act, 2009 amends the Delhi Value Added Tax, 2004; the amendment received legislative assent, was published by official notification, and its provisions were brought into force by a subsequent government notification setting the Act's commencement date and integrating the amended provisions into the VAT regime.
