Consolidation of import cargo: file IGM, de-stuff and consolidate under Customs, file sub-IGM and re-stuff with sealing.

Procedure requires filing the Import General Manifest on arrival; de-stuffing and ICD/CFS-wise consolidation under Customs supervision; custodian preparation of a tally list recording consignments, previous container numbers, IGM reference and new container details; filing of sub-IGMs; Customs acceptance, re-stuffing into empty containers and sealing with new seal details entered in the sub-IGM; compliance with transshipment rules for onward movement; and return of the sub-IGM copy to gateway Customs for IGM confirmation and closure.
