Kinly let us know whether revised (ST-3 return) format for filing Service Tax Return from July,12 onwards is given in ACES system? Whether any alternate solution recently given to the assessee to file the ST-3 return pending since July,12 onwards.

We have to file ST -3  for july 12 onwards with in time period as and when it would be uploaded by deptt on aces site, however Department has yet not announce date for submission of ST -3 from july 13 onwards, department will also give sufficient time say at least 45 approx to file the return from the date of circulr/notification.

It is mandotary for all aseesee to file ST-3 returns online using ACES. The last date for filling ST-3 return for the period from July 2012 to sept-2012 is 15/04/2013. The electronic version of the ST 3 Return for the period from July-2012 to sept-2012 is under development and is expected to be available on ACES around 25th March, 2013.

As per my information no alternative solution is given to the assessee. At least, you can keep the data ready as per paper format in Excel so that return can be filed at earliest upon availibility of electronic format in ACES.
