Export of samples requires GR waiver, LUT and proof of export; destruction certificate if not re-imported.
Exporting samples from an area-based exempted area requires a GR Waiver from the authorised dealer (banker), a Letter of Undertaking (LUT), submission of proof of export to the jurisdictional range office, and, where the sample will not be re-imported, a destruction certificate. (AI Summary)

Dear Experts,

What is the procedure to export the samples for testing purpose form area based exempted area, is there any need to submit the proof of export and need any LUT or bond to export these samples, pls. advise.

Regards

Sanjay Sharma

1.

Following docs would be needed.

  1. GR Waiver from the AD (Banker).
  2. LUT.
  3. Destruction Certificate for the sample, if you don't want to re-import into India.
  4. Proof of export needs to be submitted to Jurisdictional Range Office.
