Cenvat credit becomes available once inputs or capital goods are received at the plant where taxable goods are produced.
Cenvat credit may be taken when the input or capital item is received at the premises where dutiable finished goods are manufactured or from which output services are provided; physical receipt at that location determines the eligibility date for the credit. (AI Summary)

What is the validity date for taken the cenvat of input/capital item after receiving the materials in plant. Pl reply. With Rgds, S N Sharma

1. You are eligible to take cenvat credit as soon as you receive the input / capital items in your premises where dutiable finished goods are being manufactured or from where output services are being provided.
