implemention of eBRC module by DGFT

kamal chordia

Dear Sir

DGFT issued various notification/circular even give deadline for implementing of  electronic BRC, while checking with our bankers they are untable to provide  eBRC but stating that the infrastructure is not available etc.

Kindly check and confirm that till the bank is not provide online version of eBRC are we apply physically  and obtained BRC and same is acceptable by DGFT or not.

Please check and revert.

Thanks & regards

Kamal

Electronic Bank Realisation Certificate required for exports realized after specified cutoff; physical BRCs accepted for earlier realisations. Implementation of an electronic Bank Realisation Certificate (eBRC) requires exporters to obtain BRCs via electronic filing once bank infrastructure is in place; banks have started e filing to the portal. Hard copy BRCs remain acceptable for export realisations occurring before the authority's specified cutoff, but for realisations after the cutoff applications must be made only through the eBRC system. Questions persist about submission of printed eBRCs to other agencies for rebate or duty relief claims. (AI Summary)

ALMOST ALL THE BANKS HAVE STARTED E FILING BRC IN THE DGFT WEBSITE. U CAN SEND THE APPLICATIONS WITH HARD COPIES OF BRCS - REALISED UPTO 15TH AUG. FOR EXPORTS REALISED AFTER 15TH AUG, APPLCIATIONS CAN BE MADE ONLY THRU EBRC.
