DGFT Clarifies Acceptance of Physical BRCs for Exports Before August 15 Amid eBRC Transition Issues A discussion on the implementation of the electronic Bank Realization Certificate (eBRC) module by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) reveals issues with banks' readiness to provide eBRCs. A user inquires whether physical BRCs are still acceptable by DGFT if banks cannot provide eBRCs. Responses indicate that most banks have begun e-filing BRCs on the DGFT website, and applications with hard copies of BRCs are acceptable for exports realized before August 15. Another user seeks clarification on whether submitting a hard copy of eBRC is necessary for excise rebate claims. (AI Summary)
