For work related to secretarial compliance you should be well versed with Sec 295,297,299,301, of Co. Act.

Go through Accounting Standards Issued By ICAI. as per your requirement.

For Income tax purpose u go through provisions Regarding TDS under 194C,H,I,J

It is desirable for you to go through the entire IT Act and find out provisions applicable in your case and which can probabily be applicable in near future.

You need to know various forms and returns etc to be filed by you/ your organization.

You can go through monthly calanders / list of  complainces published in some magazines like CAPJ and find out what are applicable in you r case.

You also need guidance of a regular consultant.
