Registration of SARFAESI sale certificates: whether registration is required for title transfer and applicable stamp duty in state.
Whether registration of a Sale Certificate under the SARFAESI Act is required to effect title transfer, whether presentation to the Sub Registrar and payment on stamp paper are necessary in Karnataka, and whether any exemptions or case law exempt such certificates from registration or stamp duty. (AI Summary)

We have recd a Sale Certificate issued by the Bank under SARFAESI Act. Do we require to register this Sale certificate with the Sub-Registrar to get the Title transfered to our name? If so what is the Stamp Paper applicable. This is in Karnataka.

If not applicable aby case laws giving such exemptions?
