Company Expands to Manufacturing in Mumbai; Seeks Clarification on ROC Notification Under Section 149, Companies Act 1956. A respondent advises referring to Section 149 of the Companies Act, 1956, which imposes certain restrictions on the commencement of business but does not restrict starting a new manufacturing unit.
