Service tax online registration

BAL KRISHAN GARG

Dear Member , Actually perhaps I could not explain the thing properly . The assessee was registered since last year and filing their return regularly but Now firstly I have registered their profile with aces.gov.in and got the password but after login I have not found any option as you replied for RET option in the site .As I have understood the matter is that whenever I made Registration first time for a new assessee and got password only then the option as you have explained is available but cases where I have not filled up ST-1 it is not available in that case. Now could anybody can clarify the matter in case when I have not filled up the form ST-I but for the old registered cases with the service tax department.I will be highly oblidged to all members in the old registered cases .

Thanking You ,

BAL KRISHAN GARG

Guidance Sought for Missing RET Option in Online Service Tax Registration Process; Check ACES Circular for Help. An individual inquired about the online registration process for service tax, specifically regarding the RET option on the aces.gov.in site. They had registered an assessee's profile and obtained a password but could not find the RET option. The issue arises when the ST-1 form has not been filled for previously registered cases. A respondent suggested referring to a specific circular related to the Automation of Central Excise and Service Tax (ACES) for guidance on the matter. (AI Summary)
