Auto Population of invoice on GST Portal failed after 64 hour

milan bamal

Dear Team,

I generated the IRN for the invoice on 03/06/2026 in the evening. The invoices are visible on the e-Invoice Portal, but they have still not been auto-populated on the GST Portal.

By now, the invoices should have been auto-populated on the GST Portal.

e-invoice auto-population delays on the GST Portal may signal a portal synchronization issue requiring grievance escalation. Auto-population of e-invoice details on the GST Portal may fail despite successful IRN generation and visibility on the e-Invoice Portal. Such delay is treated as a possible system-level synchronization or data transmission issue between the portals. The discussion notes that the IRN status should be verified as active, and the matter may be escalated through the GSTN grievance or helpdesk mechanism. Taxpayers are advised to ensure the invoice becomes visible in GSTR-1 before filing. (AI Summary)

The IRN for the subject invoices was generated on 03.06.2026 during the evening hours, and the invoices are duly reflected on the e-Invoice Portal. Under the prescribed GST system workflow, the corresponding invoice details are ordinarily expected to be transmitted and auto-populated in the relevant GST returns within a reasonable time after successful IRN generation. Since the invoices continue to be absent from the GST Portal despite the lapse of sufficient processing time, the matter appears to be attributable to a system-level synchronization or data transmission issue. It is therefore requested that the status of the concerned invoices be verified and the necessary corrective action be taken to ensure their prompt auto-population on the GST Portal.

The IRN for your invoices was successfully generated on 03.06.2026 and is visible on the e-Invoice Portal. However, since the data has not auto-populated on the GST Portal even after 64 hours. This is beyond the standard processing window and appears to be a system-level synchronization failure between the two portals. Please first verify that the IRN status shows "Active" on the e-Invoice Portal. After that, raise a formal grievance on the GSTN Self-Service Portal at selfservice.gstsystem.in under the category "e-Invoice" andsub category"Auto-population of e-Invoice data in GSTR-1". Mention your GSTIN, IRN generation date, and the number of hours elapsed so that the GSTN technical team can investigate and resolve the issue on priority.

Seems technical glitch here. Raise ticket from GST helpdesk https://selfservice.gstsystem.in/ or contact them at 1800-103-4786

Even if not populated, ensure that before you file GSTR-1 the invoice is visible in GSTR-1. Should be populated by then
