Inquiry on Importing LED Parts at Concessional Rates, Outsourcing to Local Job Workers, and Six-Month Production Limit A participant inquired about the possibility of importing goods at concessional rates and outsourcing unfinished production to local job workers. They also sought clarification on time constraints for consuming imported materials. A respondent asked about the specific product, while the inquirer mentioned plans to import LED lighting parts but faced challenges completing production within six months. Another respondent highlighted that imports at concessional rates come with conditions, such as furnishing an end-use bond, and advised checking the import policy and relevant conditions for LED lights, referencing past changes in import policies from previous union budgets.
