An exporter has not opted MEIS incentive claim in his shipping Bills due to lack of knowledge. Is there any option available (Post Export Shipment) to mark the claim now in shipping Bill?.
please suggest.

Sir,
1st check the status of shipping bill in IEC GATE , whether it is live or show in History.
if show Hist, then no chance.
and if show live then go for cancellation of LEO and do amendment in S/B accordingly.
Dear Mr.Saravanan,
Can you confirm what is the date of SB? and have you declared in your export invoice about your intention to claim MEIS benefit?
In my view it is possible after getting NOC from Customs. Kindly ref MADRAS HIGH COURT order on M/S. PASHA INTERNATIONAL VERSUS THE COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS, THE ASSISTANT/DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS (EXPORTS) , THE JOINT DIRECTOR GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE [ 2019 (2) TMI 1187 - MADRAS HIGH COURT ] No.- W.P.(MD)No.25252 of 2018 And W.M.P.(MD)No.22857 of 2018 Dated.- January 10, 2019
