Restoration of an LLP

Sreekanth Duggirala

How to restore an LLP which is striked off after issue of statutory notice

No provision for restoring a struck-off LLP after dissolution; revival not possible post-objective completion. Seeking expert insights. A query was raised about restoring a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) that has been struck off following a statutory notice. One respondent stated that there is no provision for the restoration of a struck-off LLP and sought expert opinions. Another respondent concurred, explaining that LLPs often have limited purposes, such as completing a specific project, and are dissolved once their objectives are achieved. Therefore, there is no possibility of reviving an LLP once it has been wound up. (AI Summary)

In my view there is no provision for restoration of striked off LLP. Views of experts in this regard is solicited.

I totally agree with DR.MARIAPPAN GOVINDARAJAN Sir, LLP life is limited to a particular object / Goal achievement in most cases. Like a Partnership made with engineers, contractors and builders, and once the building is sold out its stricken off after issuing of statutory notice. So no chance of making it alive once wind off.
