Restoration of an LLP

Sreekanth Duggirala

How to restore an LLP which is striked off after issue of statutory notice

Restoration of LLPs denied where strike off after statutory notice leaves no statutory mechanism for reinstatement. Restoration of a limited liability partnership struck off after issuance of a statutory notice is not supported by any provision in the discussion; contributors state there is no statutory mechanism to reinstate an LLP once struck off, and where an LLP's existence was tied to a limited object, strike off after notice functions as termination with no route for revival. In my view there is no provision for restoration of striked off LLP. Views of experts in this regard is solicited.

I totally agree with DR.MARIAPPAN GOVINDARAJAN Sir, LLP life is limited to a particular object / Goal achievement in most cases. Like a Partnership made with engineers, contractors and builders, and once the building is sold out its stricken off after issuing of statutory notice. So no chance of making it alive once wind off.
