Simplification of GST Returns is in progress. Nothing can be said at present. There is possibility that all GST Returns may be converted into one comprehensive return.

In the Notification no. 72/2017 – Central Tax it is mentioned that due date of filing GSTR 2 for the month of July 2017 to March 2018 will be notified later.

In view of the above, GSTR 2 will have to be filed from July 2017.

However, recently there was highlight in media that GSTR 1, 2 and 3 will be simplified and made one.

we will have to wait as see.
