advance authorisation

Arun Aggarwal

Sir

A unit/firm can have multiple GST nos in the country as at different places but have only one IEC code.

I want to know if any import is made GST exempted under advance authorisation does the GST no has to be same at the time of exports or other GST no but with same IEC code can be used.

Arun

Can a firm with multiple GST numbers use a different one for exports under a single IEC code? A user inquired whether a unit or firm with multiple GST numbers but a single IEC code can use a different GST number for exports if imports are GST exempt under advance authorization. The query was posted on December 13, 2017, and received a reply by December 26, 2017, from another participant, indicating that the question had already been addressed. (AI Summary)
