1.) When is EWay bill coming into effect? What is the website address?

2.) I understand EBN (eway bill number) for each consignment to be generated from govt. Eway portal. We use ERP SAP which has all details of bill and consignment...my question is : Will govt. portal give API for us to transfer details from our ERP to govt. portal and generate EBN in automated manner?
If not, will there be upload facility to generate EBN in bulk for all despatches?

Generating individually for each consignment manually in govt. portal would be time consuming and practically not possible.
