ITR is filed and no tax paid yet

I am salaried income earner. I need to pay tax amount but ITR is already filed on 25/07/16 for A.Y 2016–17. I received an error from CPC. I ignore the error and didn't pay tax & error is vanished now.

Kindly let me know what should be done here to pay tax & whether late payment charges are applicable.
