Sir,

As per Notification No. 8/2016-CE (NT) dated 1.3.2016 the above returns are replaced by a single return, namely, Annaul Return which is to be filed on or before 30.11.2016 in the firmat to be prescribed by CBEC by notification. This return is likely to be filed electronically.

Sir, this is a great relief to the Central Excise assesses who will have to file 12 monthly return and an annual return as against in total 27 returns. This is effective from 1st March, 2016. Thanks.

As already stated by Shri. Kasturin Sethi Ji, the proposed changes are effective from 1st April,2016, you may have to submit the returns as per the due dates if they are happens to be before 31.03.2016.
