Returnable gate pass rules for mold and dies, like limit of days for Returnable gate pass open.

No Time Limit on Returnable Gate Passes for Molds and Dies Under Rule 4(5)(b) of Cenvat Credit Rules 2004. The discussion focuses on the rules governing returnable gate passes for molds and dies, specifically the time limits for keeping such passes open. A participant clarifies that the 180-day return requirement for capital goods does not apply to molds and dies. Another participant inquires about any time limits for these items, and it is confirmed that there is no time limit if the items are cleared under rule 4(5)(b) of the Cenvat Credit Rules, 2004, regardless of whether Cenvat credit is availed.
