Cenvat Part II Register

Cenvat credit refund adjustments: take back disallowed credit when sanctioned refund is less, and reconcile accounting entries.
Where a refund sanctioned is less than the amount claimed, the claimant may take back the credit for the difference; RG 23A Part II has been abolished so a simple debit/credit accounting record suffices. Disallowed credits identified by the department should be reversed in subsequent returns or taken back into CENVAT credit, and the ledger/register balance should be reconciled with filed returns, with departmental clarification sought where reasons for partial disallowance are unclear. (AI Summary)

Hi

We have to maintain CENVAT Part II Register.

when we claim for the refund of CENVAT credit, we have been told to debit the amount in the register.

so we debited the amount of refund we claimed in register (on the date of filing claim)

it was feb2015

but we received a less amount in the month of june 2015 as per our claim.

so how to adjust that difference amount??

also please provide excl copy of cenvat part II register.

please reply.
