Advance License - Amendments

SHOEB VAPIWALA
Under the Advance Licensing – sanctioning Export obligation were assured by the license holder the textile cloths products. We would like to know that 1. Can we amend the export obligation to other products instead of the textile cloths products, if yes, please provide the procedure to do that. or 2. Can we amend to textile related items like readymade products, yarn, raw cotton etc! If yes, Please also guide with procedural aspects. Thanks with regards.
Guidance on Amending Export Obligations: Refer to Handbook of Procedures Para 4.10 and Foreign Trade Policy Chapter 4. An individual inquired about amending export obligations under an Advance License from textile cloth products to other products or textile-related items such as readymade products, yarn, or raw cotton. They sought guidance on the procedure for such amendments. The response directed them to consult paragraph 4.10 of the Handbook of Procedures Volume 1, alongside Chapter 4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014, for detailed guidance on the matter.
