of <h1>Simplified Export Rules for Electronic Hardware Units: Freight, Debonding, Re-exports, and Domestic Sales Allowed</h1> The circular addresses procedural simplifications for electronic hardware export units in EPZs and EHTP complexes. It permits freight consolidation among units shipping to the same destination and allows partial debonding of capital goods with appropriate approvals. Scrapped raw materials may be re-exported, cleared into the domestic tariff area on duty payment, or destroyed with authorization. Facilities for importing goods for reconditioning or upgrading are extended to all hardware units. Free replacement of defective exported goods is allowed with submission of a GR waiver if required. Self-removal procedures apply to units using only indigenous inputs, subject to Customs Commissioner approval. Software units may obtain permission for unlimited domestic sales despite zero import duty, contingent on export obligations and committee approval. These clarifications aim to streamline export clearance and compliance for electronic hardware units.
