of <h1>India and Bulgaria Continue Merchant Shipping Agreement; Termination Notice Retracted to Strengthen Friendship Ties.</h1> The agreement on merchant shipping between the Government of India and the Government of the People's Republic of Bulgaria remains in effect. The notice of termination issued by the Indian Ambassador in Sofia on January 20, 1986, has been retracted as a gesture of friendship. Consequently, the notification published on April 15, 1977, is still valid, and Instruction No. 1721 dated August 1, 1986, is withdrawn. This update should be communicated to all relevant officers.
