of <h1>Board Directs Sharing Appeal Grounds with Valuation Officers for Better Preparation in Valuation Disputes.</h1> Valuation Officers in the Departmental Valuation Cell face challenges when appearing before appellate authorities in valuation disputes. To address this, the Board instructs that Valuation Officers should receive a copy of the grounds of appeal and relevant documents well in advance of hearings to prepare effectively. Additionally, Commissioners of Income-tax are advised to seek and consider the comments of Valuation Officers in significant valuation cases, especially when appellate authorities issue adverse orders. Assessing officers are requested to implement these instructions to improve the handling of valuation disputes.
