of <h1>Central Excise Commissioners to Have Sole Control Over EOUs, EPZs, EHTPs, and STPs in Port Cities</h1> The circular directs that in port cities where both Customs and Central Excise Commissioners have jurisdiction over 100% Export Oriented Units (EOUs), Export Processing Zones (EPZs), Electronic Hardware Technology Parks (EHTPs), and Software Technology Parks (STPs), the administrative control shall be exercised solely by the Commissioners of Central Excise. This replaces the previous arrangement to avoid overlapping authority and streamline administrative processes for such units.
