of <h1>Amendment to Policy Circular No. 20: New Export License Rules for Special Yarn; Daily Reporting Required by Regional Authorities.</h1> The amendment to Serial No. 3(ii) of Policy Circular No. 20(RE-2010)/2009-14, dated 14.02.2011, involves changes to the procedure for obtaining export licenses for Value Added Special Yarn and Technical Yarn. Only original manufacturers can apply, and applications must include ANF 2D and proof of export for fiscal years 2008-09 and 2009-10. Customs will test samples at shipment, and any discrepancies will trigger penal actions. Exports must be completed by 31.03.2011. Regional Authorities are now required to send daily reports on issued licenses instead of weekly. This amendment is approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
