<h1>DGFT Requires Online Processing of Deemed Export Refunds; RAs to Collect Bank Details for Faster Disbursement.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has mandated that Regional Authorities (RAs) process deemed export drawback and terminal excise duty refunds online to expedite disbursement. RAs must collect specific bank details from claimants, including bank name, account number, account type, IFSC code, and contact information. For future claims, this information must accompany applications. RAs will issue a single cheque to the Central Bank of India for the total approved claims, listing beneficiaries by bank. This information will be forwarded to the DBK Cell, DGFT, for coordination with the Principal Accounts Office, Department of Commerce.
