of <h1>New Amendment Allows FTWZs in SEZs to Store Goods for Development, Manufacturing, and Export of Sector-Specific Products.</h1> Instruction No. 71, dated November 12, 2010, amends Instruction No. 49 from March 12, 2010, regarding Free Trade Warehousing Zones (FTWZ) within sector-specific Special Economic Zones (SEZs). The amendment specifies that units in FTWZs are now permitted to store goods necessary for the development of the zone, the establishment of units, manufacturing, export, Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) sales, or finished products related to that specific sector. This change replaces the previous provision that imposed no limitations on trading and warehousing activities for any products within these zones.
