of <h1>Deadline for Income Tax Returns in Jammu & Kashmir Extended to Nov 30, 2010, Due to Regional Disturbances.</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns for the Assessment Year 2010-11 to November 30, 2010, for all categories in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. This decision was made due to disturbances affecting general life in the region. Consequently, the deadline for obtaining and submitting the Tax Audit report under section 44AB of the Income Tax Act is also extended to the same date.
