of <h1>Exim Bank Sets Up $25M Credit Line with PTA Bank for Indian Exports to Africa Until 2014.</h1> Exim Bank has established a USD 25 million Line of Credit (LOC) with the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (PTA Bank) to finance exports of eligible Indian goods and services to member countries, including Kenya, Egypt, and Tanzania. The agreement, effective from August 25, 2010, allows for Letters of Credit until August 24, 2013, and disbursements until February 24, 2014. No agency commission is payable on exports under this LOC, except in certain cases requiring after-sales service. Authorized banks are advised to inform exporters and manage commission payments per the outlined guidelines.
