of <h1>New Dispute Resolution Panel Formed in Mumbai u/s 144C of Income-tax Act, 1961 to Address Tax Disputes.</h1> The Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP-II) in Mumbai has been constituted under the authority of section 144C of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This panel comprises three Commissioners/Directors of Income-tax: one from Pune and two from Mumbai. This order supersedes a previous order dated July 1, 2010, and is effective immediately. The formation of this panel has been approved by the Chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). The DRP-II is tasked with addressing disputes related to income tax matters.
