of <h1>Deadline for Annual Activity Certificates by Foreign Branch and Liaison Offices Extended to September 30.</h1> The circular addresses the submission timeline for Annual Activity Certificates (AACs) by Branch Offices (BO) and Liaison Offices (LO) of foreign entities in India. Previously due by April 30, the deadline is now extended to September 30, or within six months from the balance sheet date if it differs from March 31. This change responds to difficulties faced by some offices in meeting the original deadline. Other instructions from the December 30, 2009 circular remain unchanged. Authorized Dealer Category-I banks are instructed to inform their clients of these updates, issued under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999.
