of <h1>DGFT Confirms Textile Garments Eligible for Status Holders Incentive Scrip Under FTP 2009-14, Para 3.16.4.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a circular confirming that textile garments are included under the Textile Sector for the Status Holders Incentive Scrip benefit, as per Para 3.16.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2009-14. This clarification addresses issues faced by garment exporters who encountered difficulties when regional authorities requested confirmation that garments are covered under the policy. The incentive provides a 1% benefit on the FOB value of exports made during 2009-10 and 2010-11. The circular has been approved by the DGFT.
