of <h1>DGFT Updates Handbook to Include Aayat Niryat Form 2EE for Foreign Entity Site Visits and Record Access Applications.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has amended the Handbook of Procedures (2009-14) to include Aayat Niryat Form 2EE for applications involving site visits, on-site verification, or access to records by foreign entities. Applications must be submitted to DGFT, New Delhi, and evaluated by an Inter-Ministerial Working Group based on criteria such as the purpose of the arrangement, credentials of involved parties, potential risks to national security, and compliance with international agreements. Conditions for approval include restrictions on the scope of visits and documentation access, and adherence to the Weapons of Mass Destruction Act, 2005. Violations may lead to legal action.
