of <h1>New Appendix 11B Sets 8% Minimum Value Addition for Copper Products in Advance Authorisation Scheme.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has introduced Appendix 11B to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), 2009-14, under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14. This appendix specifies value addition norms below 15% for certain products under the Advance Authorisation Scheme. Notably, it includes a minimum value addition of 8% for products like copper cathode and copper wire rods manufactured from copper concentrate. These amendments are made in the public interest and are detailed in Public Notice No. 42/2009-14, dated February 16, 2010.
