of <h1>Revalidation of Advance Authorizations: Maintain 15% Value Addition for Licenses Issued Before Aug 27, 2009, per Amended Rule 4.23.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended Paragraph 4.23 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.I, 2009-2014, under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14. The amendment specifies that for revalidation of advance authorizations issued before August 27, 2009, the value addition must be maintained at a minimum of 15%, or as detailed in Paragraph 4.1.6 of the Foreign Trade Policy, or as stipulated in the original advance authorization, whichever is higher. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
