of <h1>EPCG Authorization Holders Get Export Obligation Relief Due to Decline in Exports: Para 5.11.2 Update.</h1> The circular addresses the operationalization of provisions in Para 5.11.2 of the Hand Book of Procedure Vol.-1 (2009-14), focusing on EPCG Authorization holders. It states that holders whose export products are in sectors where total exports declined by more than 5% in 2008-09 compared to 2007-08 will receive relief in maintaining their Annual Average Export Obligation for 2008-09, proportional to the decline. A list of affected product groups and their percentage decline is included. Regional Authorities are instructed to adjust the annual average export obligations accordingly. This directive is approved by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
