For advance authorizations issued before August 27, 2009, under the FTP 2004-09, specific conditions apply for enhancing the value of authorizations. For exports after August 27, 2009, a minimum value addition of 15% is required for any increase in CIF/FOB values. For exports before this date, the enhancement is subject to a minimum value addition of 15% or the originally declared value addition, whichever is lower. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
