of <h1>New Committee Formed to Tackle Collective Exporter Issues; Individual Grievances Remain with Existing Mechanisms. Meetings Quarterly.</h1> An Inter-Ministerial Committee has been established to address and resolve issues affecting exporters collectively. This Committee will not handle individual grievances, which are managed by existing grievance mechanisms within the Directorate General of Foreign Trade and the Department of Commerce. Chaired by the Secretary of the Department of Commerce, the Committee includes representatives from various government departments and may co-opt other ministries as needed. Exporters and trade organizations are encouraged to report relevant issues for consideration. The Committee will meet quarterly, and its role is advisory, guiding administrative departments on resolving the issues discussed.
