of <h1>Fake Notification Alert: No Tariff Reduction for Crude Soyabean Oil, CBEC Warns Against Unauthorized Circulations.</h1> A fake notification, No. 30/2003-Cus. (N.T.), dated 6-5-2003, has been circulated online, falsely claiming a reduction in the tariff value of Crude Soyabean Oil from $600 PMT to $530 PMT. The Central Board of Excise & Customs clarifies this notification is not legitimate and should be disregarded. The genuine Notification No. 30/2003-Cus. (N.T.), dated 25-4-2003, pertains to exchange rates for imported goods and is published in the official Gazette. Officers are instructed to refer only to notifications on the official departmental websites. The last valid tariff value notification is No. 15/2003-Cus. (N.T.), dated 25th February 2003.
