of <h1>Revised Criteria for Exporter Status: Trading Houses Can Apply for Updated Recognition Under Notification No. 19/1997-2002.</h1> The circular discusses the revised criteria for granting Trading House, Star Trading House, and Super Star Trading House status to exporters, as per Notification No. 19/1997-2002 dated 22.10.97. Exporters who received recognition or renewal starting from 1.4.97 and meet the new criteria can apply for updated status by submitting an application to the DGFT headquarters. The application must include prescribed documents and the original status certificate. Eligible exporters will receive SIL based on the difference between the new and previous CIF values. The circular is approved by the Deputy Director General of Foreign Trade.
