<h1>India Approves Export of 33,200 Tons of Non-Durum Wheat for 1997-98; Includes Aid for Afghanistan and UN Orders.</h1> The circular issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade permits the export of 33,200 metric tons of non-durum wheat by Projects & Equipment Corporation of India Ltd. during the 1997-98 period. Specifically, 13,200 metric tons are allocated for the International Red Cross Society in Peshawar for Afghanistan, with the remaining 20,000 metric tons contingent on a firm order from the United Nations World Food Programme. The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) will issue the necessary certificates and report to the Ministry of Commerce and the Statistical Division.
