Despite a partial lifting of the ban for specific varieties and quantities, the overall ban on the export of fresh or chilled onions remains in effect. However, there are no restrictions on the export of provisionally preserved, dried, or onions prepared/preserved in vinegar or acetic acid. The export permissions include specific quantities to Sri Lanka and monthly exports through designated agencies in Maharashtra.
