of <h1>Jalandhar designated as notified port for Advance Licences under paragraph 7.19 of Hand Book of Procedures.</h1> Jalandhar has been designated as a notified port for the issuance of Advance Licences according to paragraph 7.19 of the Hand Book of Procedures (Vol.1), 1997-2002. This follows the Department of Revenue's notification 94/97, aligning with paragraphs 7.3 and 7.4 of the Exim Policy. Although Jalandhar is not a notified port for the DEPB scheme under Customs notification 34/97, it is recognized for Advance Licences under relevant Customs notifications. This decision has been approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
