India Increases Sugar Export Donation to Jakarta, Now 99 MT for 1997-98 Quota, Managed by APEDA.
The Government of India, through the Ministry of Industrial Affairs, has allocated 99.00 MT of sugar from the 1997-98 free sale quota for export to Jakarta, Indonesia, as a donation. This decision updates a previous allocation of 60.00 MT. The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) will manage the issuance of Registration-Cum-Allocation-Certificates to mills or exporters. This allocation supersedes earlier policy circulars and is intended to facilitate the export process as per the Ministry of External Affairs' suggestions.
