of <h1>DEPB Entitlement Calculation: FOB Value Must Include Foreign Agent's Commission, Subject to RBI Limits, Confirms DGFT.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has clarified that for calculating the Duty Entitlement Passbook (DEPB) entitlement, the Free on Board (FOB) value should include the commission paid to foreign buyers or their agents. This aligns with the approach used for drawback entitlements, where the FOB value inclusive of the foreign agent's commission is considered. The inclusion is subject to the limits prescribed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This decision has been made following representations and is approved by the DGFT.
